My passion for prayer and purpose motivates me to inspire and encourage others to connect with God at a deeper level of intimacy and intercession. I love to see people transform their lives by committing to a “daily appointment with the King (Jesus)” time of prayer and Bible study. I also desire to see more people develop their gifts so they can live with a greater sense of purpose. From Tragedy to Triumph—Vanessa’s personal testimony of raising a deaf child with AIDS and the amazing spiritual lessons she learned from Maegan, who died at the age of 8. Maegan taught Vanessa to hear the voice of God and live with a greater sense of purpose. Published in Today’s Christian Woman and Guideposts magazines, Maegan’s message of hope continues to inspire people all over the world. (Great for keynotes or Mother/Daughter events)
Grow in Intimacy and Intercession—Improve your personal prayer life by incorporating prayer walk meditations and centering prayer. I’ll show you how my life dramatically changed when I made a commitment to have a “daily appointment with the King (Jesus)’ by reading the One Year Bible.
Enjoyable Prayer—Increase participation in corporate prayer meetings and learn to pray “on earth as it is in heaven” according to Revelation 5:8 by combining worship and prayer using the “Harp and Bowl method”. Harp & Bowl training is engaging and fun for prayer leaders, musicians and singers of all levels. (could be an entire weekend workshop with 2-5 sessions)
Write a Personal Mission Statement for Your Life and Work—Jesus said, “I know where I came from and I know where I’m going.” He was able to clearly articulate his purpose and mission. In this hands-on workshop session, you’ll develop a draft of your own working mission statement that will help you stay focused on what matters most.
Learn to Pray-Read the Scriptures using a practical method of Bible study, Meditation and Lectio Divina, a traditional monastic practice of Bible reading, meditation and prayer to help promote communion with God and increase knowledge of God’s Word.
Go Deeper—Learn how to utilize online resources that will hep you study the Scriptures in a way that leads to life-changing revelation and personal transformation. Learn how to use cross-references, commentaries and how to look up the original Hebrew and Greek meanings of words and passages to uncover deeper understanding of the Scriptures.
Training Up Forerunner Messengers—Teach your children to have an effective prayer life and learn how to incorporate more prayer into your youth and children’s ministries, as well as an introduction to the 7 commitments for spiritual growth.
7 Commitments for Spiritual Growth—Learn some practical ways to incorporate the 7 commitments for spiritual growth (Pray daily, Fast weekly, Live holy, Do justly, Give extravagantly, Speak boldly and Lead diligently) into your daily life.
Song of Songs—Deemed the greatest song of all songs, this love poem will fan the flame in your heart with love for Jesus!
Set Up a 24/7 Watch of the Lord in Your Community—Based on Isaiah 62, learn how to create a 24 hour prayer room experience for your congregation, ministry or youth group that be repeated on a yearly, monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly basis. I will also share how we set up a 24 hour prayer tent outreach in our city’s yearly festival.
Staff Development for Christian Schools or Homeschool Groups—Topics include “Developing a culture of honor”; “The Four Tendencies—how learning the tendencies of your students and co-workers can decrease strife and create an atmosphere of growth”; “Creative Lesson Planning.”
