We carry the fire.

In ancient times, Native American tribes had firebearers who rode from one camp to the next, protecting coals to light a fire that would warm, nourish and guide the tribe. In our time, we seek to do the same with intercessory prayer. The firebearer is dedicated to keeping the fire burning and "carrying the fire" from one place to the next. We help keep the fire on the altar burning at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City and then "carry the fire" as the Lord directs to encourage and strengthen prayer ministries among other tribes, whether it be on a reservation, Indian boarding school or Haskell Indian Nations University, where native students come from all over the U.S. and Canada.

What is Frontier Missions?

Frontier Missions is an interdenominational prayer ministry with a mission to encourage, unite and prepare the Bride of Christ by pursuing and promoting a lifestyle of intimacy (with Jesus) and intercession. Our first priority is to minister to Jesus Christ in intimacy and then to partner with Him in intercession for the Body of Christ and for those who do not have a personal relationship with Him.

For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles; in every place incense shall be offered to My name, and a pure offering; For My name shall be great among the nations,” Says the Lord of hosts.
— Malachi 1:11

Paul was a “pioneer missionary.” He said of his ministry, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase…” (1 Cor. 3:6) Though our assignment has changed throughout various seasons, our vision remains the same—that “in every place incense shall be offered” night and day”…that His name would be exalted among every tongue, tribe and nation, the Great Commission fulfilled and the Bride prepared for His Return. Our current assignment in this season is to help keep a 24/7 sanctuary of worship and prayer at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. We are also training up forerunner messengers who will carry the Gospel message all over the earth. As the Lord leads, we also travel to minister on Native American reservations and at Indian boarding schools. As Savannah attends Haskell Indian Nations University, we will also pray for and minister to Native American students on campus who come from all over the United States and Canada.

How can I get involved?

Your tax-deductible donations help us to minister to and pray for Native American tribes, reservations and boarding schools. Billy Graham prophesied that the spiritual awakening of “the sleeping giant” (Native Americans) would be a key to Revival in America. Become part of THE AWAKENING!
